Why Seattle is going to lose in the Super Bowl
Seattle had a nice season, but this is where it ends. Reasons:
1. Their 12th man will all be home replaced by raving Steeler fans. Not that is matters with all their wins on the road. Detroit is only 280miles away. 2. The NFC is vastly inferior to the AFC this year. Coming from the AFC, they might be the 5th or 6th best team. 3. Seattle played 2 cozy home games to get in. Carolina self destructed and had no other player then Smith. How are they on the road? 4. Pittsburgh is not overjoyed about the AFC Championship and have already focused on the SuperBowl. 5. Jerome Bettis-Detroit. Destiny baby! Go Steelers. |

What a load. You really think Steeler fans are paying $2,400 a ticket, and staying 30 miles away from Detroit - any more than Seattle fans will? Nada.
The line is Pitt by 4....... Nevada will lose big time on this one. Pittsburgh is favored beause they ....... are "Pittsburgh" Now what should worry Seattle is the 3-4 defense. Seattle had big P R O B L E M S with Dallas' 3-4.....

Steelers have too much speed on defense. They love to blitz and do it well. Plus, Roethlisberger has been in "the zone" lately. I see a big Steelers win. I'll gladly give the points and take Pittsburgh.

Totally different team than at any other time in history.
The 'big games' are the last 18 games.....won more than Pittsburgh the last 18.

Hmm, yes indeed Sir Ronin is correct - I believe it was much more Seattle's ability to control than Carolina laying down to die.

Pittsburg is getting the nod becasue of the success of a team that played before most the existing players were born. And for those of you that say Pittsburg's D is too fast, didn't Carolina beat Chicago wit a big helping of hard-hitting defense? They looked downright out of place against Seattle.

The line is 4. Watch it inch up to about 6-7 by the end of the week when the "experts" actually compare the teams and come away with no answers for Seattle. Do you think your team away is as good as the Colts and Denver at home? Remember, there is no jet lagged team that has to fly 3 time zones on this trip. Don't give up, your chance will come in another 30 years.
