Alton Brown sucks....

Why does he have to keep showing me how to make such yummy stuff? I won't be able to fit in my drivers suit if I keep learning such treats.

From a recent show on making cinnamon buns.

Quote from wife "D*mnit, I just started a diet"

This is before the cream cheese frosting.

We love Alton Brown in our house, especially the episode with beef tenderloin. We used his recipe and technique for elk tenderloin and it came out fantastic!

best show on TV; and his book "I'm just here for the food" is great!

Nice work

I'm the same way, but I live alone. Needless to say I put on a few lbs in 2006.

Of all the shows on Food network, I've found he is the Engineer of cooking, love the science that he teaches. Doesn't hurt he's a motor head too.

We watch Good Eats every night before bed. I have made those exact cinnamon rolls about 3 times now. They never last more than an hour or so with a full house.

Alton's Thanksgiving turkey recipe using a brine solution for marinade was excellent. He is the man.

Check out "Feasting on Asphalt" -- it's his show where he and his crew do a road trip of the USA on motorcycles and check out local and regional cuisine.

He really is the engineer's cook.

I saw the previews for that ep, but didn't see it. I hadn't realized he broke his collarbone.

They cut the filming of the show short because of it.

My wife can make cinnamon roll in her sleep; some of them Iowa farm girls listened to their moms. It makes her mad I haven't put on weight in 20 years. Still 155.

Boy, you was cruisin for a bruisin till I saw the sarcasm. Alton's my favorite cook. Watching the peach episode right now.

Chili with an i!

Try his books.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.
