Anyone catch the premier of "Rome"?
I started to watch this show last year and I' m hooked. Some instantly didn't like it, but you have to give it time to develop characters and story lines. The new season started and BAM, instantly back into it. They did a terrific job on tying all the loose end of last year's ending and paving the way for this season. Nice thing about this show is my wife also likes it, unlike the Soprano's which I'm usually watching alone. She was a bit shocked by the ending of the premier though when Lucius Vorenus was walking around holding the beheaded head.

We got hooked on it about halfway into the season last year. HBO On Demand was a real blessing!
Yes, we saw the premier on demand last night. I agree, nice job tying up loose ends. Is Verenus a badass or what? And just wtf does he have in mind for that head? |

History has a way of tieing up loose ends. Little Octivian is my fav...This 2nd season will probably wind up with the death of Brutus and hsi fellow conspirators. Third season the death of Mark Anthony.

I started watching Extra's this season, mostly since I really like "The Office". I can't say I was extremely entertained. Maybe a few laughs here or there. It's kind of like "The Office" but set on a movie set with suble (and sometimes hard to understand clearely) English humour. I'll give it a few more tries before I bail. I watched that show with Lisa Kudrow? and after a few episodes found it unwatchable. Deadwood last season had me so worried about following the story and characters, I had trouble enjoying the show. It was like a test or something. Overall I'm a great fan of HBO original programming
