Quit drinking
I quit drinking late last week. No particular reason, but just wanted thought I would try it. I like a little wine in the evening - a glass with dinner and another 1-2 after. And it was no big deal - the quitting. Not sure I even miss it.
But I got a migraine yesterday afternoon - think it's a sign I should make this permanent, or unrelated? Anyone ever have this happen? |
I recommend a glass of nice red wine, couple of asprin and a blow job. One of the three will make your headache go away but all three will probably put a smile on your face.

Good point - I like your prescription!

Your headache could be related to the high levels of MTBE in the fuels in CA, together with the sulfites in most wine. There is a growing body of evidence about the negatives of MTBE in the air. You might try drinking sulfite free organic wines to see if they cease, or substitute a good local brewery beer since beer contains no sulfites either.

But the migraine came AFTER I stopped.

Migraines often accompany a detox regimen. So I'm told. Must be a medical explanation for this. |
I suddenly feel a headache coming on..............Honey, Dr. Joe sez..................

I feel great today. I don't feel like I'm in detox though.

i had headaches when i quit coca cola...
it's just the body cleaning up... it'll pass |
When I quit drinking (2.5 years ago) I had a migraine for days. I was also almost admitted to the hospitol. If your headaches are related to the lack of drinking, they will pass.
