Talking Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Dolly Parton, Edgar Allan Poe and ME

It's been a great year. Lots of great projects on the house & cars, got a new job and had my 1 year wedding anniversary. All told, a stellar year.

Been quite a week too.

On the downside:
My winter beater has been giving me grief:
Cold weather; Boosting a dead battery

I have an air freshener or something stuck in my nose:
Is there a DR in the house?

On the Upside:
After 2 years, I got some long overdue sweet revenge against my arch nemesis
Revenge is a dish best served cold

And to cap it all off, I arranged for a PPI today on an 86 Carrera Cab for my father:
PPI in Purcellville, North Virgina?
Just got the leakdown results:
#1 2%
#2 2%
#3 1%
#4 2%
#5 2%
#6 3%

If everything else checks out, looks like we'll have a 911 in the family!

Happy Birthday. Mine was 10 days ago!

Now get back outside and figure out how to start that diesel car of yours in winter!

Thanks! Turns out it's the starter, just like you theorized. New starter on the way. It's a lot warmer today so it did fire up this morning.

This will be dad's car, so any such sacrilege would not be contemplated. But if I can find a roller for me...

Far too young for the maid. Send her over to my house and I will train her for you. The time will come in about 20 years, just about when my polident stops working...
