Now that, I will agree, is no neighborhood for a 993.
.

It is the neighborhood for a nice 944 track car. I could drive that anywhere and not feel bad about parking it.

And, pwd72s, thanks for the offer. Circumstances probably won't allow for the detour, but I most certainly appreciate it. And don't worry. We also avoid celebrity, somehow. But we keep trying, though.
A tip of my hat! You sound grounded...that's good, IMHO. It's easy to lose your way with all the attention...stay the course, man.

Figures you guys would hit Chicago just as winter arrives in the midwest. Can't think of a better way to spend a Fri night than watching you guys play in Chi-town. Unfortunately, the 964 is hiding from 12 inches of snow (no snow before last week!) just outside my garage. Settle for a ride in a Yukon XL? Maybe I'll take a run down anyways. I enjoy your music.

PS-you have a lock on humility. "Established band". LOL

Yeah the 9:30 club is in a nasty neighborhood. Such a nice place, though. And great food.

Cool, Bell. If the roads are okay then get a hold of me and you're welcome to come on down. I can check out some of your stereo system magic.

right now there is no audio in my 911.....still working some fiberglass magic......
but my exhaust downtown cleveland in-between the buildings is all the audio we need

we'll see how the weather is, we'll know for sure saturday evening, michelle (gf) will want to come too.....so i have to figure out the logistics of seating

i'll pm you my cell #, parking for the house of blues is accesible from tower-city parking deck (large downtown mall) which is very close to the house of blues.....would probably be a good meeting place if there's more than a couple of us.....we'll cover the details when we get closer to the weekend.

later

Albuquerque ride

Y'all got rides next time you're in Albuquerque! The '69 looks a bit better than it used to:

Come on down and swim in the pool. Find the kitty and we'll BBQ.

Ahhh, does the kitty know about this? How about the wife and kids?

One down, 30 to go!

On a very cold, but interesting Sunday in Park City, we've started our experiment.
Today we got to meet Jeff, (jaydubya), Viki, and Sandy.
Didn't get to take a ride with jaydubya tonight; his car is in the air for some work, and I"m sure the 5 degree temps wouldn't have been much fun, either. Oh yeah, and the snow.

Matt ('81 SC), with Viki and Sandy.

Viki, (jaydubya), and Sandy.

Modest action photo.

Jaydubya is a DE instructor for PCA, SCCA, NASA, and lapping days at Miller Motorsports Park outside of SLC. Viki and Sandy are also avid tracksters.

Good times. Still nobody for Omaha on Tuesday. But it looks like bad weather anyway, huh?

Cheers

Gogar

Thanks again Jeremy, it was great to meet you and I really enjoyed the music!

Here are a couple of photos - my camera didn't seem to like the lighting conditions so they are a little blurry...

I also have short video - let me know if it's ok to post it...

Best of luck with the tour! Hopefully we can get together at Miller Motorsports Park this season.

Cheers,

Jeff
