bands you wish you'd seen live
Other than the obvious ones (Jimi, Cream, Stones in their heyday), what's a band you wish you'd seen at their peak? For me Ben Folds Five comes to mind. And Peter Gabriel on the So tour.

I wish I could have listened to Mozart perform in his parlor... writing composing and performing. That and also the fact that they were using uneven temperment (musical tonality) back then... anything written prior to the late 1800s had musical tonality that was based on different intervallic lengths that what is we use today (Equal Temperment)

I missed Jimi, Cream, the Doors, the Airplane, the Zep and Traffic
1. Jimi in his late period..Gypsys 2. Cream anytime 3. Doors at the Whiskey, before they became big...the night Morrision said, "Mother I want to fk U." on stage during the End. 4. The Airplane in 69/70 5. Zep in 72/73 6 Traffic in 1972.. 7. Beatles Abbey Road Roof Top Sernade. 1970@ 8. Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green 9. Early Tull with Mick Abrahms 10. Bowie..and Ziggy..Aladin Sane But the best tour I would love to have seen was the Stones 69 tour...LA Forum... They were absolutily ablaze. Through a thing called Bootlegs U can get a taste of what it was like. As a kid I was in Vegas when the Rat Pack was in town, there definately was a certain vibe to the place..especially the Sands where they hung out.

Stevie Ray Vaughn
I took a pass on a concert that turned out to be one of the last before he was killed. Dammit.

The Dead. Pink Floyd (almost saw the Delicate Sound tour, parents nix'd it). Led Zepplin with Bonham (saw P&P in the early 90s).
