Love/Hate... Audi kicks butt in snow!

We finally got some snow here in NW Ohio! I got to try out our Audi A6 2.7T in the snow for the first time and while I HATE working on it, it is unbelievable in the snow! The combination of it being a heavy fat pig coupled with the AWD, makes it the most surefooted car or truck I have ever driven in the snow. You have to step on the go pedal pretty hard to induce any wheelspin even with it's new wider (235 40 18) all season tires. My wife loves it now Lendaddy!

I still miss my 84 Turbo Quattro Coupe when it snows. What a ride.

I've been told the '89-'94 964 C4's with a set of Blizzaks are pretty amazing as well. Very similar AWD system to the Quattro.

It takes a while to accept that it's that good, I know. My big concern was always that the wife would get too comfortable and get in the habit of going too fast......

We have two Quattros, my wife's '97 A6 and my '91 90Q20V. Just the think for the snowy mountains of west / central PA.

They're pretty fun in the rain, too! You can just hammer the gas, and the car goes where you point it, no drama.
