Well thank you, Livi. And generally, yes. Very nice people for the most part. There's most definitely one that doesn't fit that bill, others, perhaps, but again, that's their problem, not mine.

Joe you and I think alike on many topics, but on this one I disagree when it comes to using the ban stick. I think Todd and Z man do a pretty good job of keeping things reasonably in check. We need a fair amount of dissent here in OT. Like minds tend to stagnate. We need opposing views to keep us thinking. No doubt CC has found the buttons to push on you, but her posts at least force you to come up with witty comebacks!

AFAIK, A couple regulars here know her personally, and so support her stirring it up here. They also seem to get a kick out of that 'social experiment' asspect of it all. I can see that. .. a bit. But is what's the price/benefit? --I really don't like the way some very good contributors here are affected.

I don't support anyone in particular and have shut down the last two threads mostly due to cc being over the edge. But she has plenty of help, and you guys are into the abyss (dare I use the "T" word?!?) as well.

As for knowing her personally, yes I've met her. And so has Joe. So you can take that for what it's worth...obviously that is *the* critical parameter in figuring this whole thing out.

Oh, and this thread is closed now too. And I'm back offline until somebody reports a post (like multiple people did this morning). Not to take anyone's inventory or anything, but seems like a couple of you guys (and girls, I'll leave you to figure out which is which) could follow my lead, logoff, and do something marginally productive...or fun even, rather than living to "stir it up."
