Don't forget the:

-Attempt to limit the number of pages in school textbooks - because school bags are too heavy.

-Law that says you've got to have your headlights on when you have your windshield wipers on, or you're going to be pulled over and given a ticket.

-Law that says you're going to be pulled over and given a ticket if you turn on your fog lights during the day without your headlights.

-Promise to redistrict, then conveniently "forget" to redistrict, then again promise to redistrict, if it means term limits are repealed so 4-5 assembly people can keep their jobs. Now there's being a selfless politician, always looking out for the consitituents.

-Successful attempt to eliminate the rolling smog exemption, ensuring that your 1976 911 will always require thermal reactors and an air pump, even though you want to do an EFI + Cat update and make it run cleaner. And even though those parts aren't made any more.

But you can give them your car for $500 if you have a problem with that.

The Dailey-Blagoyevich-Obama trifecta are cut from the same cloth.

It's banned in Chicago, just like hand guns and smoking.

Only a matter of time before the morons-in-power around here want to be "just like Chicago".

Actually, I was going for things that legislatures had banned because they didn't like.

Where can you buy some foie gras (pre-cooked)? I don't know if it's banned here in FL, but I've never seen it for sale.

While I agree with the notion of using CFLs they failed to mention that when they are in an enclosed light fixture the CFLs get to hot and fail much sooner than a normal bulb. I have CFLs in all of my non-enclosed fixtures, but making normal bulbs illegal is just retarded.

Our local gas & electric company has a point-of-purchase rebate so you can buy a 3 pack for $0.99 so there is no reason not to buy them, unless you have an enclosed fixture.

I didn't know the enclosed-fixture issue. I've been migrating to CFL's myself. I bought a bunch at the local supermarket a while back - it was $2.00 for a 5-pack, subsidized by the local power company - couldn't pass that up.
