Old Pueblo 24 Hour MTB Race
Any pelicans doing the 24 hours at Old Pueblo (Tuscon) 2/17-18? Looks like registration is full. I've noticed there are quite a few riders in this bunch o' car nuts!

I have quite a few friends who will be down there competing in the team & solo classes. I was planning on racing...until I ruptured my tendon in my left leg
 Enjoyed seeing your 550 at Emory's this past August, looks like a fun ride.

Ruptured tendon - yeeeowww!!! Better to have a simple break in your leg...
 But you are probably already aware of the long heal time for that! Glad you like the spyder - of our 3 porsche's, its the only fake but its my favorite! Really looking forward to this race. I do my training in the mornings (3-5am) and not to snivel or anything, but DANG its been cold. Sunny Tuscon is sounding really good right now. Taking both kids with me - bike camping is FUN! We'll be up in the solo pits. Hope you heal well and soon. Your bike awaits. angela

Have a great time in Tucson. Hope all those early mornings on the trainer pay off for you. I know the feeling, it takes serious dedication.
When you are suffering in the wee hours, remember.. You are better than you think you are, you can do more than you think you can ! Ride hard
