Anyone use a Solo S2 radar detector
I am spending alot of time in the car, in California and outside. I have two tickets last year, and was thinking a radar detector would be nice.
Needs to be small and compact, so I can throw it in my briefcase while on trips, and throw it in the rental car. I like the idea of wireless, wonder how good it is? Thanks

Are radar detectors worth it these days? It seems like the Washington State Patrol mostly uses lasers.

Valentine One. Saved me thousands in the last two years.
Spend the money and get a good one, as the first ticket you get will cost you both money and points, and its not worth it.

I have the S2 in my Bimmer and it has paid for itself a few times. But I have to have it small and well hidden because they're illegal in VA. Anywhere else and I definitely go with a Passport 8500 or Valentine.
