I need romance! In L.A. or San Francisco
OK gang,
I may be spending next weekend in the LA area or San Francisco. I need something very romantic to do Friday night or Sat. night. Anything within a few hour's drive of LAX. No tourist traps please. I'll even take a BB on a cliff overlooking the ocean. So hit me with it! I need ideas please. |

If you are in LA, rent a Porsche 997 Cab from this rental car place that is on Supulveda by the airport (dont know the name of it).
Drive over for drinks and a bite to eat in the beautiful lobby-lounge at the Casa Del Mar (hotel) in Santa Monica....with all of the trendy-beautiful LA people. Book a room there first, cause you will be coming back (if you know what I mean)... then put the top down on that 997 and take a refreshing drive North up PCH through Malibu. Stop for another drink at one of the many places along the way such as Dukes...then head back...woman will be tipsy and refreshed from the air, and scenery (great way to see the ocean and lights)...then get back to the Casa Del Mar and take her up to your room... and give her.... Been to a nice B&B in Capitola. Quiet town by the sea. Nothing remarkable to me but the wife liked it.

I did the google thing and stumbled on the name of the B&B; Monarch Grove. Right on the bay. Tres romantic.
