Unfortunately members only for the 300 yard side, but there is a 100 yard range open to the public. We should get together out there and shoot rifles some time. If you think I have some "interesting" handguns, you should shoot some of my rifles.

It's been two years now since I have been out hunting anything. I can't believe it, after spending a lifetime hunting. I consider it kind of a "sabatical" of sorts. Got fed up with the game department, and other reasons. Anyway, it would be fun to go out and call some dogs again. I have some great spots over by Wenas Lake up on Manashtash Ridge, between Ellensburg and Yakima. Close enough to home to be easily do-able for day trips. Only problem is, I sold my '71 Land Cruiser... might have to abscond with the wife's Scoobie Doo-Baru Outback. Either that, or I'm sure my Bug will get up into wherever we would need to go up there. Nice gravel roads all the way up over the ridge.

I've shot at Kemore a few time to sight in rifles, but I'm not a member. Perhaps I should get on that.

The wife has a Lexus SUV, but heaven forbid the thing gets mud on it. If was really an issue, I would rent us a truck or an SUV for the day.

I still have to get the rings for this puppy. Once I get her together, we should try to setup up "N-club Range Day II: This time, its rifles".

My dad bought me a Burris Fullfield II for my birthday (I gave him a Sig220, for his.....he got the better deal). The reticle has elevation marks that are supposedly accurate out to 300 yards for a variety of caliber/bullet combos, and .30-06/150 grain is one of them. We shall see......

Yup, you should join up at Kenmore if for no other reason than to gain access to the 300 yard side.

I like the idea of another No Gruppe range day, with rifles this time. I wonder how many of the usual suspects own a rifle? Not that I don't have plenty to go around...

A very good thing...!
