Under the belt, but still...

...an important issue:

Nothing heightens the experience of a good bowel movement as much as a complimentary stack of interesting magazines in the bathroom.

OK, I am a little bored today. The ward is completely full with small children suffering from the infamous RS-virus. They canīt breath and they wonīt feed. And it goes on for 1-2 weeks. At least! Problem is, there is no effective therapy against the symptoms. Basically extra oxygen if needed and feeding threw a nasal tube if necessary. Day after day after day..

Then, at a brake, it hit me. Without a good read, it is just not the same. :p

this thread is a stinker, Markus. ;)

Marcus,

As men get older we stop chasing pussy as much and enjoy the simpler things in life. You learn that its just not worth the effort...

That said, a good magazine, car related of course and if not then it could have some "Grid girls" photos in it and located in the bathroom will provide the necessary company whilst having a good BM in the morning. Its one of the better things in life.

As well as you get older you will find that Metamucil is your friend in this area. Especially those of us who travel a lot find that airline or airplane food does wonders on your daily "sessions on the throne" so to speak and is a big help.

Do you work in the NICU?

livi 02-07-2007 06:51 AM

...Metamucil is your friend... :D

Thatīs good one, Joe!

Also, how to tell if a woman owns the house?

Lastly, if you want to read while away from the house this is just the kit for you!

livi 02-07-2007 09:38 AM

Have to differ with you there. Reading this board while crapping is a sublime experience. I don't know how they ever did it in the old days. :)

Markus - my 9 day old son contracted RSV in Januar of 96. He spent 13 days on oxygen and Virazol(sp.). He also had a collapsed lung. He's healthy now (11 y.o.), but man, what a ride those two weeks were!

livi 02-07-2007 10:52 PM

Yes David, the RS virus is a little devil.

The person who finally develops and patents a reliable vaccine against that virus and Rota virus in the same shot - can kick back the rest of his life. And so can his children, grandchildren and so on.. ;)

I am on it..
