I would take that over a restored car ANY day. What an beautifully kept car.

Nice car, but personally I'd use a set of '51 YOM plates with a '55 tab.

notfarnow - regular engine or carrera, running or not? I dont' think that even a carrera engined speedster would go for much over 250k. Heck, there was a '48 gmund car for sale a while back for $350k... A few years ago the hull of a speedster that was held together with 2x4s and had a tree growing up thru it sold for close to $30k...

Unbelievable. If I had the $$, I would buy that in a heartbeat. It's value will only increase in the f'ed-up world that is the future. It represents a time that will never be repeated. Absolutely stunning.
