Snorkeler mistaken for rodent, shot in face

A snorkeler who was shot in the face after he was apparently mistaken for a swimming rodent was in good condition after surgery, a hospital said Saturday.

William Roderick, 60, of Reedsport, has been charged with assault, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He was being held in the county jail.

The snorkeler is doing fine, but only after eight hours of surgery. I'm not sure how you mistake a snorkeler for something that looks like a beaver, oh wait, must be the drugs...

first mistakign a snorkeler for a beaver
then he did help the dude, ok , this is good
then he get's busted by the 5-0, and still has meth and maryjane on him....

well duhh, he just shot a man in the face, what sort of logic makes him think ,
"i'll hold on to the dope just a little longer, maybe the cops won't detain me for the shooting,and if they do , i'll need the dope"
