That's a fact! I see them all the time at the local car shows. Wrong steering wheel, motor, and even the wrong hood but there's that SS badge. I guess it does more for value than painting the car "resale red"

Chevy owners think that by putting an SS Badge on their car it automatically becomes one. These owners think, why go to all the work and expense of doing a REAL SS when no one can tell the difference anyway. This just goes to show U how cheap and stupid Chevy owners are.

Lest we become too prideful, some folks like the M491 Turbo look option for the similar reasons: it looks faster. Personally, I like the wider rear and would be glad to own one but I am not deluded into thinking it goes faster.
No, I don't own a Chevy, my point is that there are jerks in all areas of life. I know a few classic Chevy and Ford owners who put more time and energy into their cars than most Porsche folks I know. Lets not lower ourselves to a condescending attitude.

Oh my is that funny. You'd be hard pressed to find a car (or a group of people building them) that is more oft cloned that any number of Porsches. Think of all the RS, RSR, S/T, Carrera GTS, 911R, 9146GT, etc. clones just on this bbs!
