Any possibility to install flash driver (Sandisk Cruzer micro) in 98, not 98SE?

Any tech experts, can I just forget about trying to download any driver for my SanDisk Cruzer micro into our 98 (not 98 SE) machine?

I originally wanted to be able to transfer files from the 98 machine, but the web site says I must have 98SE. And if I try to install the 98SE driver I get a kernel error.

well you could upgrade every DLL an VXD you have on the 98 with files from a 98SE machine, and you probably "could" get it to work if you persist, but realistically you're probably buggered with 98 regular... it just doesn't have enough octane for your high compression sand thingie...
