Porsche Crest Porsche tattoo--hot or not?

I'm considering getting the Porsche crest tattood somewhere on my body, probably the lower back area, where it seems most common for girls to have tattoos. It won't be huge, but it'll be noticable.

What I want to know is...should I go for it? The place I talked to today said they wouldn't be able to write the 'Stuttgart' word in the center of it and that the details on the gold parts wouldn't be able to be duplicated...

I'm thinking of getting a second opinion at another tattoo shop.

But anyway, thoughts anyone?

And if you have a Porsche tattoo, pls post a pic! I'd love to see what other people's tattoos turned out like.

A good shop will be able to do it...shop around. I guess it all depends on how big you want the tat to be. Up here in Chi-town, they can do pretty much anything--again, shop around, and make sure you post the end result.

Ummmmm......NO.

Sorry, but I think that would be very cheesey (I do have some tats btw...).

If you really want to get something Porsche related, how about a 911 outline with the words Stuttgart Uber Alles below it. Roughly translated, "Stuttgart over all".

This thread is useless without more pics...

Small tats are kinda cute and sexy on some girls...

Definately stay away from the breast area...
Maybe lower inside hip, where it stays hidden
unless you want to reveal it on special occaisions.
Thats sexy.

Lower Back tats are ok, but can be overdone...

What about ankle?

Get the tattoo. Tattoos are only for your enjoyment anyways. I have a Picasso on my right arm. Got in college, and fortunately the ladies still love it...

I do highly suggest that you get a second opinion from an artist who can do fine line tattoos and will be able to include the "stuttgart" detail. If you are going to get it..do it right in the highest detail possible.

You risk not being able to change your mind later and some folks will judge you for having a "tramp stamp".
My vote: not hot.

Besides, get the Porsche crest tattoo and you'll get a letter from Porsche's legal staff asking you to cease and desist from using their legal trademark .

That's the main reason I have never wanted or gotten a tattoo. You can remove piercings and they'll heal up, but with tattoos, you're kinda stuck with something you may or may not like. I've always said if I ever got a tat, it would be one that meant something to me, something I was loyal to, and not the old "well, it seemed like a good idea at the time" excuse.

Well if they have to think of me as a tramp, at least they'll know I ain't cheap!

They'd only find out about it if someone tattled...
