Well it's been over a year, but I finally got my car back on all 4 wheels. It'll still be a few weeks before I can take her out, but once she's registered and ready, I'll join you guys to stretch her legs on a nice Sunday morning. I figured out why your flash device did not work. The trip sensor is mounted to the top of your trunk. We had the trunk open while "flashing" your car ;)

hmm...i thought the sensor was part of the lic. plate unit. i think the capacitor has a blown fuse.
either way it's coming out since i'm selling the box and getting something with the engine hanging out the back!

update to the garbage dumped at the park.
i googled the guy and called him. he was a little freaked about the fact that i knew where he lives and his credit car number.
turns out he has had his identity stolen a few times (you think he'd learn from that and not throw out credit card receipts).
turns out he cleaned out his garage and put a bunch of stuff on the curb.
