Again presumptuous one, you assume (only this time you are the ass alone.) that I ever suggested misrepresenting anything to anyone. I DID NOT!

Yikes. Get a room. ;)

I bought a 944 with 172,000 miles. On the way to the inspection station I hit bumpy patch in the road. A sticker on the back of the odo fell down over the numbers so all you could see was 172. That's what the entered at the inspection station . Then the DMV entered the sale date as 1995 (I bought it in 2005).
Oh, well....it's a track car and I already had to replace that engine.... |
I hope letting you have the last word makes you feel better.
As I stated in a previous post morals are all but gone. Screw your neighbor before he screws you. The American way. Caveat Emptor, everyone. Tom |
My 86 951 had a clean Carfax and clean AL title when I bought it in 2000. I found out a few years later that it has a salvaged title in GA back from the early 90s. Their guarantee didn't apply for some stuid reason.
Can anyone explain to me how it takes 10+ years to input info into their system? |
