FYI, be careful where you store your power tools
When I used my circular saw the other day it threw out sparks and didn't have much torque. Apparently a metal shaving got into the commutator and wore a groove in it. Unfortunately I kept the saw under my work bench near my drill press where the magnet probably attracted a metal shaving. I'll be storing my new saw and other power tools in their cases.

I had a router literally "go up in flames" in my hands while edging a piece of wood. I don't know the reason and I had been using it for a few minutes, but it was not overheated or on a long, under-gauged cord (which is slow death to any tool). When they say use your safety glasses and such, it's for real good reason.
