NO. Mac did NOT issue a fix for this issue, because Mac are not capable of having 'this issue'. These issues are related to calendering, which almost certainly means you have an Exchange/Outlook environment. Apple DOES NOT MAKE enterprise software of this caliber, and thus there is nothing to patch.

(Yes, I'm tired and cranky. Sorry)

yes ,very cranky. The posting about Mac issuing their fix for Daylight Savings was on my EIS website. But I understand now the difference.

They do, and the problem is not that you don't have to change, but computer systems in Arizona need to be able to understand DST in areas that they connect to. And as mentioned above it's largely a nuisance for email applications like Notes and Exchange, however things like backups and financial transactions rely on schedules as well.

That being said, all 20 some odd thousand servers we have are patched at this time. Outlook and desktop issues are covered as well via various large scale desktop management systems. It's really no sweat when you have a good management system in place.

What are they doing?

Is this a daylight savings time problem?

I sent out a meeting appointment in Outlook for March 14th. It went on everyones calendar an hour later than I wanted. I rescheduled the appointment and now it is an hour earlier than I wanted.

Why would they be messing with time in the future?

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 03:48 PM.
