Best Garage Floor Cleaner?
Got all the oil leaks fixed on the Pcar then blew a trany gasket. Propped up the lawn mower to change the blade and oil ran across the floor overnight. Long story short, the floor is BAD. NOW, the Pcar is out for repair how can I clean the floor?

When I had bare, untreated concrete in my garages, I used a product called "Pour & Restore"...Had a citrus scent, you'd let it sit up overnight, and then just sweep it up. Took fluid stains right up. Now I use a liquid microbial product I get from Griot's Garage to spray any spots left in the driveway from visitor's vehicles.

Simple Green and a brush. Apply, brush in, let dry, then rinse off with high pressure water hose. Works great in my garage!

Amoco Ultimate. Very cheap!! The safety gear is kindofa pain in the ass, though.

+1 for Simple Green. I add a bit of car wash soap for some suds for general cleaning. For oil, I use cat litter and then the above mixture.
Of course, I vacuum my garage too. Neighbors think I'm nuts. Oh well. |
Wayne,
I thought I was the only one to vacuum my garage floor! I use a Sears wet/dry vacuum. |
I have an old one that we got at a garage sale. I got busted for using the wifey's good one. Oops.
I have a shop-vac as well but find the smaller one easier to use. |
I still find my wife does the best job at cleaning that floor.
