Need help setting up PC to record overair HD
 
My overair HD signals are so good I am dropping Dishnetwork.


The only thing I will miss is my DVR.

Anyone know some good step by step instructions on how to record overair HD broadcasts on my PC to play back on the TV?

I think PC magazine had an article on how to do this back around Christmas. I was in an airport for 2 hours and read it. Lemme look...

Tell me about it!!!! It's hard to justify $70 a month for Directv when the OTA HD signal is perfect.

However, Speedtv, HBO, DiscoveryHD help make it a little more palatable.

Don't let the fact that's it's homebrew turn you off. There are companies selling Myth based boxes for $1,000+
