The Barn find of all times

Can't read Norweigen, but this is quite a barn. There are some Porsches in the mix...

http://www.geenstijl.nl/paginas/mirror/20070215-pritt-mazda/index.html

My friend that forwarded it described it as the following:

Pics of a barn found on the property after someone bought some land in Portugal dirt cheap. Takes a while for all of them to load.

garibaldi 02-21-2007 08:18 PM

at least they were kept individually covered and in tip top running shape it would be a shame to see those cars left alone in some brick wharehouse to just rot and get dusty

jwerion 02-21-2007 08:18 PM

Unreal, That is the barn find of all times.

Hawkney911 02-21-2007 08:20 PM

wow.....

ToddM 02-21-2007 08:21 PM

I just came

msterling 02-21-2007 08:26 PM

How did they get there? Mind blowing. There has got to be a great story to go with this. My Norwegian really sucks.

jkarolyi 02-21-2007 08:59 PM

*DAMN*

Wickd89 02-21-2007 09:12 PM

Really amazing. Something for everybody.
Wonder if they are going to clean them up and auction them off.

stealthn 02-21-2007 09:14 PM

I call bull$hit, you'd be able top see that "barn" from space, co'mon.

All those cars and NO one new about them.....smells funny.....but I'll wash and wax them all for the 356 :D

Actually - Porsche 911's are conspicuous by their absence.

What a bummer. You finally buy a place to store your cars, and you find the outbuildings are already full!

Now what's a guy to do?

Craig 930 RS 02-21-2007 10:48 PM

hehe.. sikkert ikke dan eneste låven i verden som ser sånn ut uten at noen vet.. min feks*drømme!

jkarolyi 02-21-2007 10:51 PM

Any chance anyone knows Norweigan and can translate the story?

slodave 02-21-2007 11:33 PM

There are a bunch of threads on this story. I forget if it is here or OT, but there was a link to a translation.

The Norwegian comments are pretty much the same as those in this thread:

bourgeois911 02-22-2007 02:51 AM

Here's kind of a translation, paste this mess into your browser and wait a minute or 2:

bourgeois911 02-22-2007 02:53 AM

Wow, after reading that translation I think Babblefish would do a better job.

e-speedster 02-22-2007 03:13 AM

Hola - they just refer to the barn find in Portugal in Norwegian - their comments doesn't give more facts about the story/find/the lucky people :)

Craig: "lol - probably not the only barn in the world that looks like that.....mine for instance..;)"

Too bad there wasn't more special Porsches - but what a deal!!

Hawkney911 02-22-2007 06:10 AM

i wonder who is gonna find all of thos keys

bkreigsr 02-22-2007 06:21 AM
