My grandfather (Stan) has been gone 1 year!

We lost my grandfather Stan one year ago. He passed on 2/24/06 at our house, very peacefully in his sleep. It's hard to believe it's been one year already! We're going to the gravesite tomorrow, then go out for breakfast and remember Stan and the funny things he used to do.

Is Stan would have lived through this past year, he wouldn't have been able to take it... the Ford salaried cuts and me taking a voluntary buyout... would be things he never would have comprehended or believed. Perhaps it's best that he left us when he did. Anyway, we're OK, just missing our Stan and we're thankful for each other and our health. Thanks for letting me vent...

It's been three years since my Dad passed away as well. 02/24/04

This past February 15 would have been my parent's 50th Anniversary.

It was 1 year ago today that my grandfather (Stan) died, so we went to the cemetery. Hard to believe it's been a year without him.
