'Cuda craziness or how to flip a Barrett-Jackson car on Ebay

This 'Cuda sold at Barrett-Jackson for $550,000. Today it sold on Ebay for $899,000.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160086906063

Who'd have thought you could buy a car at Barrett-Jackson and flip it for a profit? Hope the buyer's not planning on trying to flip it at Barrett-Jackson next year.

43 original miles on the odometer, all burnout.
The diff skips teeth, the trans is steel bands and grey jello, motor seized cause the oil cap was off, and back seat smells of something iiinteresting.

$900,001.

It's funny, the car sold for almost a million and you look at the interior and it looks like it cost about $200.00 to build the entire car.

That is just an ugly car... IMO.

There is that twisted part of my brain that wants to see it get picked up by the giant scrapping claw that picks up the GT at the end of Gone in 60 Seconds!

Oh well.

They probably looked up '70 Hemi Cudas on Barrett Jackson to see what it would sell for and found the recent sale. Doh!!!

As crazy as prices are for these cars $550K for one that's nearly new is less than I would have guessed.

I bet most of the guys who don't like hemi cudas prolly never rode in one or drove one.
I've done both, they are not ugly at all to me.

Well, yeah... if you like gobs of unbridled horsepower at your disposal. But who really wants that?
