Heroes is great, I'm really glad they let you get caught up on marathons and dual broadcasts on NBC and SCi-Fi channel.

Last night's episode was great, but the structure of commercial breaks is really annoying. It seems like every 6 minutes they go to commercial.

I commented the same to my wife regarding commercials. Seems like Heroes has more commercial time than program time. I enjoy it too. I'm just waiting for all of them to get together and rule the world!

I looked up the running time for each episode via iTunes, and it's pretty standard - about 42-43 minutes per ep.
It annoys me because I can't stand watching commercials, so I usually read a bit of the paper, or surf PPOT or something when they come on. And I invariably miss the first 30-60 of show when it comes back on.

Nobody tell me what happened, I have it on VHS tape and still have to watch it - commercial free.

I overheard a couple of guys talking about that show. They mentioned that the cheerleader is a hottie. She's like 16 in real life! What a couple of pervs! Good show though. It's part of my TIVO schedule.

I had been watching Lost with the wife. I didn't really have a choice. Anyhow, I can't tell you how sick I have gotten with the frickin 'mysteriousness'. Basically, it forces you to detach your brain and just be a witness. I don't like that. They can do whatever the hell they want to, because they never explain anything. Really sick of that show.
Then Heros started. They start pulling the same crap- mystery piled on top of mystery, with no chance of thinking any of it through. However, last night they actually explained a lot. Hopefully, the mystery will now be over and they can start working towards resolution. Oh- she watches Prison Break too. Good god- how much longer can they be on the run for? And seriously, did anybody see the part where they run the phone number given through a 'super-computer' that makes lots of beeps (sophisticated movie computers ALWAYS beep a lot- it adds horsepower or something). The 'super-computer' is seen running through combinations for seemingly HOURS. Nevermind that there are websites where you can put in your phone number and see possible spellings within them. Nevermind that these sites take all of 2 seconds to process this. Nevermind that I first did that back in 1999. God dammit- why can't I get a lobodomy so that these shows intrigue me? |

I love Hiro. I hate Nikki -- multiple personality disorder is not a superpower.

Seriously- if Nikki is a superhero, then we all know LOTS of heroes.

"hot" is a superpower. when the nuclear dude had claire around the neck, i was hoping that lightning bolts would shoot out of the mom's eyes.

no, that was another "person of talent". from the looks of the preview, she will be a player in the next show.
