Snow-belt Pelicans unite! (And complain!)

It was 12 degrees this morning (and we are supposed to get record cold temps tonight) with snow and salt on the ground and a 20+ mph wind.

Reading about driving Porsches and reading about working on Porsches is making me CRAZY!!!

C'mon spring! Hurry up!

Anybody else getting itchy as hell?

I'm going to the track tomorrow. It's supposed to be sunny and in the 70s. :>)

Of course, in August I have to park my car as the heat and humidity is just brutal, so I guess it evens out...

I should have said in my first post, "I don't want to hear the Southern California, Texas, or Florida Pelicans complaining about how it gets hot sometimes!"

Itchy?

Yes.

It's supposed to be 52º on Saturday. The first day above 35º in weeks and the first time above 50º all year.

I might start to dig into pulling my cylinder head...

Like I said in the other "winter" thread, its supposed to be 86 degrees here in Phoenix. Sure was nice taking the top off of the Targa and taking it for a spin...

I remember being in Columbus Ohio in winter on a business trip. Called a friend of mine and said "Nice place but I would never live in a place where if you go outside without a jacket YOU DIE!"

Hey, now. Who invited the AZ and CA Pelicans?!?

If I didn't absolutely love my '84 so much, I'd buy a 964 C4 or beg the wife to let me buy a 993 C4 and drive it year round.

Most of us used to live in places like that. We got smart and moved South where its warm!

I can't even get to my 944. It has snow up to the windows. I will have to do alot of digging to get the thing out. The last 2 weekends we have been stranded at home because I live on a dead end country road a there were 4-6 foot tall drifts all around us and covering the only road out for about 200 yards. 2 weekends ago when the snow plows finally came through, 1 went into the ditch and the other broke an axle only 100 yards down the road.

Can't wait for spring.

Send some of that stuff out here, we need it! Tahoe has had one of its worst seasons on record, 60's predicted for the weekend.

What Im saying is "even in Lake Tahoe, CA, its still warmer than were you guys are".

In the dreaded meantime - taking advantage of what a snowy winter can offer. Fun with the kids. Grabbing the fastest sled for oneself and wearing a funny hat...
