Dave - You have a great "Shed"...I luv how my Auzzie buddies call them a Shed - we say: Garage.

My retirement home I'll move to in a year. "Shed" is 48' X 32 "
Also has a rollup door on the rear......Downsizing from my current situtation: 2 car attached garage and a detached that measures 36' X 28'.....Hope all my crap fits in the new one.......

I am very fortunate to have a big shop/hangar with seperate rooms as a workshop and paintshop, but being so big it, makes it kind of a pain to keep clean. When I first acquired it, it seemed like a huge open waste of space, after years of collecting various project cars and planes, it is getting pretty cluttered. If my wife had her way, she would probably throw out half of it. :D

I wish my wife agreed with you! :D

My life would probably be better if I just concentrated on one or two hobbies. I need professional help!

The grass is always greener on the other side I guess, as I am often envious of those such as yourself who have nice clean finished garages with a couple of perfect cars sitting in them. :)

I hate you, Tim. ;)

I always wondered how much more money I would have if I was obsessed with basketball instead of cars.

Lets see... Purchase a ball once and I really don't think that I could use up that much $$$ in shoes and shorts...

I only have a pic of my Garage/Shed in North Carolina. Built out of a carport by Procon. The man is talented.

My florida Garage is a small 2 car with too much crap crammed into it.

URY914 03-01-2007 09:57 AM

WOW! is that the real Howmet?

Bob's Flat-Six 03-01-2007 10:10 AM

Yes...
I was trying to remember the story on it.
Experimental turbine for the ?? I guess it did race by a google search.
That's an old Lincoln to it's rear and the German plane is a Messerschmidt SP?

That does look like a original Howmet Turbine. I saw that car at its first race in Sebring "67. It was a great car, very quiet and fast. I dont recall it being painted like the picture, but it was a long time ago. I think there were 2 actual cars that raced and they did'nt last. The one I saw was all white. It was displayed at the BRIC at Road America last year or 2005, and that one looked like the car that raced.

My garage is very messy at the moment. I'm hoping to to have my friends projects wrapped up by spring so I can put my own cars in the garage. :D
