Melinda Doolittle - I'm a Fan! - American Idol
I don't know if any one of you caught her performance last night (I'm a Woman) but I found myself on youtube today just wanting to rewatch.
first time that's happened in 3 years of watching Idol. I'm a fan of this woman. First contestant/winner whose album I would definitely buy! I have a feeling she's going to be very famous, and very soon. |

She's definitely worthy of winning. No doubt.
I resisted this show for the first few seasons. I would click right through w/o any urge to watch. Last season, I got into it in the end, probably 'cuz that McPhee girl is cute. I started watching at the beginning this time, and for some reason, it's must-see for me. Even my wife, who watches crap like Lifetime and Nanny re-runs, thinks I've sold out, not to mention the crap I get from some buddies. What gives?

A guy I knew in college was a big Fran Drescher (spelling?) fan. He would get drunk and watch the Nanny. I watched it with him once, and I have to say its in a tie with Full House for my ultimate video diahrea prize.

i disagree. Lakisha has more balls in her voice, but she doesn't have the subtlety of Doolittle. Doolittle is sublime...
