I met him in the Bahamas 30 yrs ago and got is autograph. No idea where the autograph went.

I flew from Chicago to La with him, in December 2000.

I didn't recognize him at first, because he is a lot shorter in person than he appears on TV (Camera angles, etc). I saw this guy pass with a million gold chains and what looked like a silver picture frame holding a plate of gold in the front.

"Oh, geez, a drug dealer!" I thought. My buddy across the aisle, who can see him better than I (MR. T was in the seat directly behind me) leans over and says "I pity the fool, who doesn't fly first class!"

Great guy, talked to all of us and took pictures with us. He was spending 1 weekend a month in Chicago in his home neighborhood to work with the inner-city kids. Some people talk the talk, while others walk the walk.

LOVE THE A-TEAM! B.A. baracus? or something along those lines. i love how they always had to drug him to get him on a plane.

He bought a house in Lake Forest IL. years ago. It was in the news. He cut down all of the 100yr old+ oak trees on the property because they had "bugs". It was a big score for comediens--Eddie Murphy I think? Anywhoo, if you drive by the property it makes you friggin' sick--this beautiful house, beautiful acreage, no trees. Oh well.
