Question Is Pelican's server acting slow?

Seems like it's intermittent. Sometimes it responds "normally" and other times it hangs for a bit. I've had it actually time out several times with an error message on the screen from the Pelican server. Anyone else having this problem?

Yup. Cable here. When I post there is a brief error mssg at the top but the post goes through. Also, occasionally PP won't load at all, or hangs for 5-10 sec but I think Wayne has fixed most of the server problems.

Getting the same here in Georgia. Been seeing this for several days now.

Thought perhaps it was my own internal problem, but other pages load up right away.

OK. Glad to know it's not just me. I'm guessing Wayne is still working on things.

I've noticed Google-Analytics hanging things up more than usual on the site.

I sure like the new spell checker. I wonder if this application is burdening the system. I've had the error messages for months. Sometimes it goes away for awhile. I thought it was my neighborhood DSL traffic.

I get this error every so often:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:\PelicanBBS\cgi-bin\vb\admin\db_mysql.php on line 93

It happened a few minutes ago.
