Not at the moment, I'm much more shy of photo ops than I used to be. But I can say I'm 20+ pounds heavier and not in near as good a shpe as I used to be(lots of injuries).

Byron,
Somewhere I've got a picture of me like your Before picture. Lean and a six pack in the days before anyone has heard that term. Today? I've got the whole keg! I WAS 155 lbs soaking wet as a high school senior. Today I am very close to 220 lbs. Gotta go, going for an hour long walk. I just disgusted myself!

I was 148 of pure muscle my senior year, then I went through a bout of depression and didn't eat much for awhile and went down to 115. Those pics I posted were taken when I was about 140lbs and 32yrs old or so.
I started riding moto cross a little after that as well as still riding BMX bikes until I was 37.
Now I just work full time and have an elderly parent to watch over so not much time for anything including my P-car.
And last time I checked I weighed 165 and I'm only 5'6"

You should still be able to take a BMX bike out, I still have mine and still play on them and I'm closing in on 42, including at the bars

Yeah, I know how that was. Even in my twenties I was 3% body fat, 145 lbs. Now at 190. Gotta lose those pounds. It is not good for us.

Byron, I see like most of us you did not add much weight to your legs.

Pelican weight watchers crew I'm getting better at watching what I'm eating(I watch ALOT).

But in all seriousness I've been keeping my portions smaller and trying to lay off the sodas. So I haven't gotten much over 165ish.

If I could get back down to 150 I'd be satisfied

Oh, is having hair at 52 "bonus points" or something? I suppose only if you're dating 50 year old women! I've got LOTS of hair and LOTS of fat. Well, I like to think not LOTs but too much and all in my stomach and chin. If I weighed 350 it would all be in my face and gut and I still wouldn't have a butt!

Having a flare up of plantar fascititis (sic?) does'nt help when you're trying to walk/run some weight off. Anyone know a good way to get that to subside? Already using shoe inserts and taking Naproxsyn twice daily. Anything else to do?

I had it for years. Shoe inserts from the podiatrist worked. In fact, I've got them on right now.

Scott, Thanks for the tip. When I went to my regular doctor he suggested I go to Sportsmart, etc for the good (not Dr. Scholl's from the supermarket kind) inserts but I wondered if they were good enough. Seems like a podiatrist would or could get custom ones made. Are yours custom? Do you run in them? ANY pain? Do they just minimize the discomfort or truly eliminate it?

I just looked at mine and they're called Superfeet. The podiatrist took some measurements, iirc, and then came back with these. I have them in the shoes I wear most often and, over time, the problem which plagued me for years slowly went away. I never feel any pain at all anymore...ever.
