Doh! It could be worse, it wasn't in the Porsche!

Hope you feel alright. Naproxyn and a nights rest will make you feel all better.....not!

I almost drove the 993 today. A hit that hard would have totaled it.

Mark...you were in the Ranger? Don't they make great daily drivers? Anyway, yes...since you got hit by a city bus? SUE THE BASTARDS! That'll teach them to hire the lowest common dominator..

Paul - the f150 is my DD for 6 years. The fire dept came out and kept repeatedly asking if I was OK. They said most people love tapped by a city bus already had dollar signs in their eyes. I won't sign a release till I'm sure all is well.

1) The "lottery mentality" with lawsuits is the problem with this country.

2) Mark, glad to hear you are in on piece. I'm have this feeling that I will eventually get rear-ended in my F150 (seems like people like to stop awfully close to it). I keep my trailer hitch in place just in case...

'Scuse me...confusing the F-150 with a Ranger...gee, when size is out of the equation, you gotta admit...looks are pretty similar.

Yup - They're shaped just about the same. I've confused them as well.

Feed the lawyers, and complain about cost of government and buisness?
The Pelican search engine doesn't seem to work today(?), because some juicy Mark Wilson quotes would have been posted.

Slinging internet poops besides, glad you're ok Mark.

I have to disagree with you pardner, your neck hurts real bad, real real bad. I fact you may have to take a few more days off from work (which will not be good becuase you have major clients and projects depending upon you!).

What about the emotional aspects? Do you really think that you will ever truely be able to drive the way you have with out constantly wondering if you will get smacked from behind? You invested heavily in a performance automobile only to be emotionally crippled from driving the car the way it should be driven. All because of a city employee, a Laura Miller lacky, who was to busy trying to make time up on his route because he was too busy chuckling it up with the other hackneys in the city garage to bother getting on with his route. Did you smell alcohol on his breath?

This accirdent has turned you into a pensive panty-waist who will never be able to trust again.

I see at least six digits in your future...(or at least free DART bus passes for life)

As a City of Dallas tax payer, I whole heartedly agree with a settlement of free DART bus passes for life, I'd even throw in DART Rail.

In all seriousness Mark, I hope your neck pain is just temporary.

Ding, Ding, Ding!!!

This explains why the courts are too busy prosecuting crap and insurance rates for anything and everything that has insurance are ridiculous.

I wonder if the OP of the "lottery" comment is from New Orleans. Same attitude as the folks that were looking for FEMA debit cards, free hotel rooms, free mobile homes, etc...

Mark, sorry for your accident. Hope you feel better. Sorry to say, but gone are the days when a sore neck, a few trips to the chiro and some advil will get you any money. These days, you need broken bones and/or surgery to get any money. Go ahead and hire an attorney... they'll take your case, but don't expect anything for your pain and suffering. The insurance companies have put an end to that. Please don't shoot the messenger!
