I agree with jim727(I think thats he said?)...in that when the cab and boom rotate and then suddenly stop, the twist is transmited to the ground through the track laterally by the four large end gears.
The track kinks and pushes the weaker #1 and #6 gears side ways.

A small guide rail next to each could stop this, or a hydraulic pressure dampner to slow the cabs jolting stop- if that is the problem.

The rollers have some scoring, combination of comtamination and brinelling. I wish I had pics but I had to leave my camera at home cuz Our Son had a Soccer game. I should call them up and have them send me some pics.

Weld on a few plastic brush skirts?

Gonna surface treat the bushings and rollers with moly and then use a great grease that withstands extreme loads, resists water washout and has a high temperature service.
