Temperamental Pyloric Valve?

The unbearable stress of reading certain political posts on PPOT has caused my valve to slam shut with the force of a screen door in New Orleans circa late August 2005.

My mongoloid supervisor will have no choice but to dismiss me from further workplace obligations for the week.

This forum could use some more geometry and theology. :D

If you were 4 weeks old, experiencing an increasing tendency to throw up every meal ferociously - yes, then I would guess you suffered from a pyloric stenosis. Easily corrected with a sharp knife..;)

I am bummed that no one got that I'm just making reference to the book A Confederacy Of Dunces...

Pyloromyotomy's a fun case, livi. At least it is if you're not on the pointy end of the knife.

HAH!! Four weeks old was exactly how old I was when I had this procedure done to me. From what I was told, mere seconds after a feeding, I would spew practically across the room. Mom said the incision was held closed with a bandage.

If you look closely, you can still see the scar....which has grown over the years to about 3 inches long!

My HMO just took my Nexium away! They say I can pay for my own durn prilosec otc...

Does this have anything to do with that? Are you feeling my pain?

What does this have to do with the confederacy and the war of northern aggression?

Mike tried to do the same then after trying several samples of other things and finding that none of them worked anywhere near as good my Doctor wrote them a note saying that it was Nexium or else.

They finally relented but were not happy about it as the cost is evidently not cheap. Could care less as it really does work wonders.
