My great grandfather was the person that actually made - by hand - the first Packard automobile in 1899.

First picture is of the very first Packard with my great grandmother, grandmother and great uncle.

The second picture shows my great grandfather, grandmother and great uncle a couple of years later in what is marked Packard No. 3. This was likely taken in 1901/02 before Packard moved from Warren, OH to Detroit.
