I'm a life member of the NRA, and do donate to it's ILA (Institute for Legislative Action). But the sad truth is, the NRA does little on local disputes. Oregon firearms.org is the horse to ride on this battle. Dunno how effective it will be though. I've posted here many times about how left wing Portland is, and that is Oregon's only large city. It's Portland's liberal legislators who are behind this...and they do rule the roost. Obviously an end run on the 2nd amendment by passing rules that would be too costly for any gun club to follow...welcome to the people's republic of Oregon. Oh, the "mainstream media" here has been quiet on these bills in their coverage of the legislature. Gee, I wonder why?
