Setting a Timex digital watch... what's the "P" on the date screen?
This thing is kicking my butt. I've read the instructions and can't find a reference to this. When setting the date, there's a "P" that can be cycled on or off. What does this do? If it's on, then a small P shows up on the other screens as a reminder that you've engaged P mode. WHAT IS IT???
PS It seems to have nothing to do with the alarm or hourly chime. |
pm?

It's not PM - AM and PM are selected when setting the hour. This "P" is on the date screen.

I have no idea.
But you might ask these guys... http://www.timezone.com/ http://bestdamnwatchforum.com/index.php http://forums.watchuseek.com http://www.thewatchforum.co.uk/ Good luck with it! Paul. |

If it's a "sports" type watch with built-in heart rate monitor and such, I'd guess it either stands for "Pulse" or "Pace" mode.

When its sunny and 70 - the P shows up indicating its PORSCHE time!

well mine shows "P" in the afternoon and "A" in the morning when it is in the date mode
doesn't show either if you have time set to 24hr clock |
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 01:47 PM. |
