Yeah, I know it's a stretch, but hey, it happened at a track........... :)

ted 03-26-2007 07:33 PM

that looked avoidable...

Cory M 03-26-2007 07:59 PM

The guy standing right behind the k-rail didn't even flinch!

Jeff Alton 03-26-2007 08:08 PM

What an idiot......

Tspringer 03-27-2007 05:05 AM

Complete moron. Almost as big a moron as whomever owned the
Enzo and let idiots like this into the drivers seat.

ErVikingo 03-27-2007 05:26 AM

What a moron, I guess he'll have to become a "manwhore" now to get it fixed up...

mark_d_mcguire 03-27-2007 05:49 AM

Saw this on Headline news this morning too.

The biggest moron is the person who set up the autox that close to a jersey barrier.

+1

High powered car, inexperienced driver and a wall to hit if you miss a corner is going to be a recipe for disaster

pwd72s 03-27-2007 10:42 AM

Maybe we should keep score. Which car has the most crashes? Enzo vs. Porsche Carrera GT....rich boys breaking their toys.

on-ramp 03-27-2007 10:43 AM

who cares. just get another one.

Porsche-O-Phile 03-27-2007 10:45 AM

He shoulda' got out of the car and ran for it while shouting that it was his white man buddy that was driving.

Sonic dB 03-27-2007 10:48 AM

Never heard of the guy. How much of a "celebrity" is he?

Well...now he has more material to use in his act.

Expect Eddie to create lots of Ferrari jokes with a
self-deprecating racial twist to them like...
"never let a brother like me drive a Ferrari"

ha ha..

Perhaps he will make a $million to buy the car back.

Sonic dB 03-27-2007 10:54 AM

OK here we go its starting already according to Wikipedia:

"When asked by reporters his reaction to the crash, Griffin laughed and exclaimed, "Brother's good at karate and all the rest of that, but the brother can't drive".

Staylo 03-27-2007 10:56 AM

...somewhere in vegas

keep score? there's been so many now you can pretty much lay odds...

911teo 03-27-2007 12:02 PM

I think the car belonged to the movie producer. Follow me for a second An Enzo is worth $1,500,000.
Producer tells actor/buddy to go and push it. Car gets crashed. The bill will be probably be in the hundreds of thousand... less than $1.5m though.

But every single car forum is talking abt this. This is a car related movie, right? Lots of exposure right where you wanted.
Plus CNN, MSN, Fox etc are reporting the story. It's all over the web...

So it could be a publicity stunt. I am not saying the guy said to go ahead and wreck the car... But I think they are not that sad....

It is a shame if you are a car enthusiast because it means one less Enzo around.

Personally i wouldn't go so hard on the actor. He was probably never given any training and told to push it... Stuff happens.. I had my share of excursions...

Schrup 03-27-2007 12:47 PM

I wonder if they make a new man-law about driving supercars like a little girl.

speeder 03-27-2007 12:54 PM

My ******* dog drives better than that.

teenerted1 03-27-2007 02:20 PM

maybe keep score on how many different post are dedicated to the exact same story:eek:

so far i have seen it 3 times here.
