The Pelican Identity
Hi,
I seem to have some time on my hands.... I took one of the numerous Pelican Parts stickers I have accumulated and decided to put a non obtrusive "tramp stamp" on the rear window of my Targa. I will have to clean the smudge marks tomorrow and I will try and take a couple of daytime pics as well. I like it. ![]() ![]() ![]() P.S. I am not really into stickers on my cars, but I thought I'd give it a try.

Ya know, I've often thought it'd be nice if Wayne were to produce a back-of-the-window type of Pelican sticker. I bet most of us would use them.

I made this into a small round one with scissors and stuck it on the windshield to hide the doublesided tape I used for the rearview mirror. It did not stay stuck more than a few days, delamnated when I cut it up.

I did the same thing with mine, it looks really cool but hasn't weathered well. Wayne, I think you should see if its feasible to have the existing pelican die cut around the outline, and do it on a higher quality vinyl-not necessarily a giveaway, I'd buy one...

Looks like it's time to get that Pelican as a registered trademark!
He needs that little circled "R" symbol to keep him from escaping into the public domain. |

Speaking of Pelican stickers how about a program where you save stickers and turn them in for goodies!
Or better yet a Pelican Parts credit card where 1% goes towards Pelican Parts gift cards!!!!!!

"Pelican" in the Porsche font? About 5-6" long and 3/4" high? It'd be unobtrusive at the bottom of the rear windshield, and I'd still put the Porsche font "Pelican" sticker on my BMWs.
Just a suggestion. I'll support this place by any means... up to putting that bird on my car. Nothing personal, but that logo .... well, you get the point. JP

When I had a bunch of the old Pelican bumper stickers, I cut out the "Pelican Parts" and put the sticker along the higher edge of my driver's side quarter window in my old 944.
I would definitely wear a pelican sticker on my car.

Subscribed in case this goes somewhere.
I'd do the vinyl but prefer the grill badge (tastefully done of course)
