How about real people with funny names?

Rich Moneymaker

And my personal favorite:

Dick Stillhard (yes, that's a real name)

I worked with a supplier by the name of Richard Short, and he prefered to be called Dick. It wasn't funny because he was about 6'6" so you had to call him that with a straight face.
I have also had the pleasure of working with Mark Hunt, which was a nice name for the switchboard operator to call out over the PA system.

By far the best...my ex was a teacher who had a pupil named Rory Lyons.

In college, there was a Korean woman named, "Ba Ha." Her middle name was "The." No kiddin.

A friend of mine was David Donat. He swore up and down that he would name his daughter Elizabeth Clair (E. Clair Donat) and his son Duncan (Duncan Donat). Knowing him, he probably did.

My father and I share the same first and last name: William Cash. But he goes by Bill.

When I was in the Army, there was a guy whose last name was Dick. Of course, that made him "Private Dick".
