"The Shield" Season 6 tonight
The Shield season 6 premieres tonight on FX. I love this show, despite the exaggeration of police work. Last summer, they were filming in South Central LA on location. I invited the actors on a ride along, but they respectfully declined. "Lem" and "Shane" were very down-to-earth guys. It looks like it is going to be a great season.

Love the Shield--awesome episode last night--there is never a "relax" moment on that show--it is always "now who is trying to get Vic"
And...the dick 'n granny thing was hilarious.

I love that show, at least what I've seen of it. I watched the first 3 seasons, (I think), on DVD.

I agree that Chiklis ("Vic") was the least personable of the crew. He was arrogant and stand-offish. The other three, "Lem," "Shane," and "Ronnie" were very cool.
I invited "Vic" especially on a ride along in South Central LA, but he told me flat out that he was not interested in the real police life. No sweat off my back. I love the conviction he plays though. He is a hell of an actor. The show was great. David
