Ever finally meet someone with a sexy voice?

Happened to me once at work.

Been talking to this clerk for a couple of years but we never met since I'm in outside sales. She supported my department so I had to deal with her every day. I had an occasion to visit the home office so I told her that I would take her to lunch as thank you for doing such a great job, which was very true. I didn't bring enough cash but good thing I took her to an all-you-can-eat place. The restaurant took a loss that day.

I wasn't the only one who was disappointed. She said I sounded like the tall, blond, lifeguard type on the phone. In reality, I can't even swim.

LOL. Sexy voice and sexy body don't necessarily go hand in hand.

hehe this is one of the first lessons you learn on a help desk where you also meet people in person. Voice != Body != Personality. It also works the other way around, not so sexy voice occasionally does end up being stunning.

This is one way that God gets the less than beautiful women married!

Close your eyes and think of the good looking ladies you really like. Most of them have a off pitch or husky voice.

Now think to the "grain fed" versions of the same girls, the ones who are not the cutest, not the skinniest.. you know what I mean.

The nicer the voice sounds on the phone or radio, you just know that she is not your type. When the voice is a bit rough or different it usually turns out to be a knockout...

When you meet radio personalities, they always seem to look much different than what your mind programmed as the image. Voices stay pretty much the same throughout adult life until old age (I mean old) sets in. That can be deceiving as well. However, if you listen to what is being said and how it's being said, you can get a good guess on the age. But, I've been fooled big time on that.

Beyond that, I've never met a woman that had a real annoying voice that was a standout. Most beauties, it seems to me, have at least a reasonable voice. A generalization that won't stand, I'm sure.

In my last relationship before getting married, I was with a girl whose voice just hypnotized me, it was so melodic and exotic. You could hear her smile in her words. Most of our relationship was over the phone and I'd just throw out topics and let her talk. I was just happy to listen - but I've always been a sucker for a foreign accent. She was South American with a splash of Middle Eastern. She spoke 5 or 6 languages so one of my favorite things was to goad her into speaking different languages - I didn't care if I could not make out every word. Fortunately, in her case, the reality was just as good as the fantasy - she was a stunner. Like Shakira's older sister.

Nowadays in my line of work I have many contacts that I've never met in person, but speak with frequently. Some of the ladies have pretty sexy voices. I'm fine with leaving the fantasy alone - I know the reality is probably just not going to measure up.

When I was dating my wife, she had a voice that could melt me - perfect during sex. Now, its just shrill and endless. Marrage can do that I guess...

How about Terry Gross on NPR? Her voice is incredible but have you ever seen a picture of her? Scary!

we used to fight over the phone to make our orders to a supplier, because of the incredibly hot voice of the girl who did our account... went on for half a year till there was a partner event...

we never called her again after that...

wrong i know, but that was the the level of dissapointment , i say no more

on another note, when calling anybody in France, if not answered you end up with the receptionist, and i'm quite convinced that they hire them on the sole basis of sounding hot...
and knowing the French style, i'm also convinced that it almost certainly means they will be pleasing on the eye as well...
Frenchies wouldn't select a hot sounding chick to sit in the entrance of their company beeing fugly... i like the French way of thinking...

I used to work on the phones for Cisco Systems, so I'd talk to people from all over. I once had this Asian girl from New Jersey or New York call. She didn't have any accent at all, NY, NJ, Asian, nothing. Her voice was so hot that it was distracting and I couldn't think. It used to kill me when she called because I had to avoid talking to her on the phone and do everything via email or I never got anything done.

That ain't happ'n anytime soon. She has started biking again and thinks that she may have hurt herself. She isn't bleeding but is in lots-o-pain.

As soon as she opens the gates in 2 years, Daddy is gonna tear dat stuff up!
