Absolutely.
I would have thought that;
A) The Teacher could sort this out without a security officer
and
B) The security officer would be able to comprehend the difference between a six year old's comment and a posible threat. If he can't this guy must be completely worthless.

Basically I am amazed at the reaction. Fortunately my son got to spend the day Friday doing chores with his Mom, so he didn't get a 'day off' while suspended. He was complaining bitterly to me this afternoon that he didn't get a day off, but how many parents would have just given the kid a day watching TV or taken them out somewhere? At least I feel that he hasn't discovered a great way to get off school for the day.
