I started out my day by washing the Carrera. My plan was to take it out for a nice drive up on Skyline. The moment I enter the freeway, I collect a golfball size rock dead center of my windsheild. Grrrrrrr! Not only did it put a huge chip in it, it cracked in two directions about an inch. I was planning on replacing the windsheild this spring anyway because of glare from pitting. I guess this accelerates my plan. To add insult to injury, after the drive on skyline, I go through a swarm of bees at about 90mph. I had the sunroof open and the windows down. I got showered with bee debris. Gross!!
I guess I'll be washing the car again tomorrow.

Could have been worse. If you're alergic to bee's (like me) and actually gotten stung by one of those suckers then you'd be spending the remainder of the day in the ER with an acute case of anaphylaxis. Makes re-washing the car kinda difficult. Bummer about the windshield though.

If you have comprehensive on your insurance, you should be covered for glass. If you were going to replace it anyway, it could be a blessing.
