That's why I moved out of Smithtown 15 years ago.

3 Blizzards in a row pushed me to the limit.

I'll be enjoying the 65 degree weather tomorrow.:D

Many scientists (liberals of course) associate global warming with the disruption of global weather patterns, resulting in extreme swings from the local mean temperature averages.

They, of course, are wrong, and engaged in a massive liberal conspiracy to organize an army of eco-nazis under a former VP to control the very thoughts of all American citizens.
Carry on.

Of course you must be correct.

I mean, really what's the liklihood that over 100 years since the Industrial Revolution with rampant use of ozone depleting chemicals and processes could have actually screwed up the Earth's weather? Friggin conspirators:rolleyes: :D

"The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the Rochester area and predicts we'll get 10 inches of snow on Sunday and Monday."

-- From this mornings newspaper.

This spring's weather has been so pathetic...it's almost funny!

I wanna move.

sammyg2 04-14-2007 07:47 AM

John is right, Dan is wrong, again. ;)

4-6 inches here in the Texas panhandle last night. This was supposed to be the driest spring on record here. We were supposed to be in a serious drought from March-June. So far over 9 inches of rain. That is nearly half the yearly total for these parts. The weathermen know their sh-t don't they?

azasadny 04-14-2007 08:16 AM

It was nicer last month at this time than it is now. We've had a "relapse" of winter here... Where is spring?

Aerkuld 04-14-2007 11:07 AM

Well, 20 years ago there would have been someone telling you that we are about to enter a new ice age. Now we get global warming.

Hope the weather improves for you monkey. The house I have for sale is running into problems too, but these seem to be caused by my ex-wife.

many944s 04-14-2007 01:06 PM

I feel your pain with the weather....
Last week I figured since I only have 2 weeks before I can move all my stuff to my new garage, I would go pick up my new restoration project, a '73 Fiat Spider. Now, it is parked under my First-up awning with the snow-a-flying Ughhhh! :( Sorry for the pic quality, but the snow is throwing off the auto-focus..

Try flying in it.

widgeon13 04-14-2007 03:42 PM

You're right, you earn your keep on the shltty days.

Rick V 04-14-2007 04:34 PM

Global warming is a direct result of the auto industry. We stopped using R12 a few years ago, as we all know R12 makes things cold. By not releasing it into the atmosphere we are warming up...............think about it. :)
We are looking at getting 3 inches of rain in the next 12 hours from this system.
